My skin is dry, my hair is staticky...Winter must be near.

So all these things happened two weeks ago but since stage crew really limits everyone's free time I am blogging about them two weeks late.

Coffeehouse
After school a group of crazy teenagers (which included Corey, Chloe, Tommy, Kit and me) went to t3h VC. In Giant, Tommy and Kit decided to purchase unicorn Halloween costumes (originally meant for children under the age of 5) and put them on to gallop around making strange horse noises. Unicorn #2 (Kit) then left, and the rest of us went to Ruby Tuesday's where Corey and I ordered a Blondie With Chunky Nuts. T'was delightful. Then whatever strange creature makes these decisions decides that it should start raining really hard. So we ran back to the school. Well, Tommy galloped back to the school. We are cold, we are drenched, we have a Coffeehouse to attend.

Now, I remember Coffeehouse being exciting, but that was two weeks ago. At the moment, I don't quite remember *why* it was exciting. Things happened. People played music. Jen Lu (or however her name is spelled) won the costume contest. I ate food. I sold tickets. Whee.

Asian party
The day after Coffeehouse. Basically Corey came over and Ding and her friends came over and we ate and sat and watched America's Next Top Model. Oh, and Corey ate an exploding strange green Asian candy.

Weakerthans
I SAW THE WEAKERTHANS AT THE 9:30 CLUB WITH JESSICA, BELINDA, AND STEPHANIE. :D So we arrive at said 9:30 Club and there is an interesting child (well, not really a child, he was older than us) reading a Virginia Woolf book. After a long discussion about what to name him, we decide to name him Virginia Woolf. We then decide that he is going to stand and not move at all during the course of the show. Oh, how wrong we were. He was perhaps the most enthusiastic person in the whole club! That Virginia Woolf, headbanging during even the slow songs. Oh yeah, someone drove from Taiwan to see the concert. ;-)

Halloween
I was a pirate, Corey was a pirate, Belinda was Amanda Palmer, Stephanie was something-to-do-with-Amanda Palmer's-boyfriend?, Nick was Chewbacca?, Chloe was 3-hole-punch Jim, Jessica was the mad hatter, and Tommy was a hippie. We trick-or-treated in Stephanie's neighborhood. There was lotsa candy. =] My dad decided to come pick me up early though. =[

Stage Crew

Today is the second to last day of it. I think I'm going to wait until it ends before I make yet another really long and pointless post.

It's Liu. And yay for unicorns. On my Facebook, there are about a thousand pictures of me and my friends in front of an $800 stuffed one in FAO Schwartz. =]

This is only three weeks-ish late, but Stephanie was Brian (*did not just type Brain*) Viglione, the other half of the Dresden Dolls and not Amanda's boyfriend. :)
